In this fun and interactive unit study, designed to meet and exceed state and national standards, your children will explore elements of microeconomics and macroeconomics. After a Chapter One review of scarcity, choice, and opportunity cost, your children will focus on international trade, comparative economics, and market economies. With over 35 activities and 10 hands-on exercises, including literature-based economics lesson plans, your children will be fascinated from beginning to end. Each chapter includes a variety of activities, including lesson plans, videos, interactive websites, readings, worksheets, charts, games, and much more to make learning economics relevant and FUN!

This unit study is part of our economics core curriculum series for grades 6-8. The time needed to complete this unit study will vary for each child, but you should expect to spend approximately 40 hours.
