Prentice Hall Writing and Grammar: Grade 7

Middle and high school level curriculum allows your child to really delve deep into various educational subjects, including English/language arts. Prior to this, your child likely studied English as a whole in order to grasp key foundational points. Doing so was important to helping him or her develop English/language arts skills. However, now that he or she is ready for more challenging work, you can focus your child’s English education.

The Prentice Hall Writing and Grammar curriculum for homeschooling will help you do so. This program emphasizes Writing and Grammar specifically, giving your child a comprehensive look at the concepts. Additionally, Prentice Hall Writing and Grammar naturally follows Reading Street, an elementary homeschool program.

In Grade 7 of the Prentice Hall curriculum, your child will continue to learn important lessons in Writing and Grammar. The program is broken into three main categories: Writing, Grammar Usage and Mechanics, and Academic and Workplace Skills. The first two categories emphasize English topics while the last develops your child’s critical-thinking and test-taking abilities.
