BioDigital was founded on the premise that 3D technology will transform the way we understand health and medicine. The founders had witnessed its impact on gaming and movies, and knew if applied properly the technology could have a similar profound impact, but in a area so much more important – how we understand our health. Together they opened a biomedical visualization company – in New York City, and over the years, they have helped make biomedical information more accessible for a diverse list of clients, including hospitals, biotech and medical device companies, pharmaceuticals, non-profit organizations, academic institutions and students.

The reactions to the 3D technology solutions from patients, providers, and industry was so positive that in 2013 BioDigital Inc was formed focused on building a human body cloud platform to empower anyone with Internet access to learn about health and medicine in an entirely new format. Assembled from a decade of IP and industry research the BioDigital Human was born. This interactive, medically accurate virtual body enables users to learn about anatomy, health conditions, and treatments in visual format that resembles life itself. The platform is constantly evolving, as our purpose driven team of software engineers, 3D modelers, and scientists continue to push the limits of what’s possible – empowering our global user base to better understand health and the human body.
