We are an established and widely trusted educational site who have been providing a wide range of free ESL (English as a Second Language) resources for learners and teachers of English since the beginning of 2002.
Our educational content and tools have been referenced many hundreds of times in scholarly articles and in books, and is regularly referenced online from other educational websites.
Different varieties of English are used; there are contributors from the United States, Canada, Pakistan and non-native speakers, but much of the site uses British English as it was set up in the UK.
