AP Economics

AP Economics is a course that can be taken in high school in order to earn college credit. The course covers microeconomics and macroeconomics, and is typically divided into two semesters. In microeconomics, students learn about topics such as supply and demand, elasticity, and market equilibrium. In macroeconomics, students learn about topics such as gross domestic product, inflation, and unemployment. In addition to learning economic theory, students in AP Economics will also be expected to apply their knowledge to real-world problems.
