Geography
What is Geography?
Geography is the study of our planet Earth. It covers its physical features, climate and resources. It also looks at how human activity has changed and is changing the face of our planet.
A geographer seeks to understand Earth’s physical features and how they interact with one another. They also examine how human activity has altered the landscape, both in the present and in the past.
Geography is a vital subject that helps us make sense of our world. It enables us to see the patterns in our environment and understand the processes that shape it. This knowledge is essential in order to manage our planet’s resources sustainably and to make informed decisions about our future.
