Pre-Algebra

Pre-algebra is the first step on the road to algebra, covering basic operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. These operations are usually introduced in kindergarten or first grade, and cemented in second grade. However, some students may require a review or extra practice before moving on to more difficult concepts. Pre-algebra also teaches basic concepts such as fractions, decimals and percents. These concepts lay the foundation for higher-level math courses such as algebra, geometry and calculus.
