AP Art History
Smarthistory is working to include each of the 250 required works of art. The new test will assess a student’s understanding of the methods used by art historians and familiarity with the cultural context in which a work of art was made and understood. Smarthistory’s art history content is designed to teach these skills and to make the art engaging and accessible (and it’s completely free!). Currently, some 95% of the 250 monuments are discussed in the videos and essays included in this section. We are working to cover the remaining content. New materials are being added regularly. __________________________________________ * AP Art History is a registered trademark of the College Board, which was not involved in the production of, and does not endorse, this product.

What homeschoolers say about Khan Academy
Homeschoolers widely appreciate Khan Academy for its extensive free resources covering a broad range of subjects and grade levels, including test prep and advanced topics. Many praise its clear video lessons and interactive exercises that allow self-paced learning. However, some families find the platform less structured and requiring significant parental oversight to ensure consistent progress. Additionally, while the content quality is generally high, a few users note that the presentation can feel dry or overly academic for younger learners. Overall, Khan Academy is valued for accessibility and depth but may need supplementation for a fully rounded homeschool curriculum.
